WELCOME TO BRIGHTSTAR SOLUTIONS
Congratulations on joining Brightstar Solutions! We are happy to have you on our team. Please read this guide carefully as it contains important information about your first week.
YOUR FIRST DAY
Please arrive at the main reception at 8:45 AM on your first day. A member of the HR team will meet you and take you to the orientation room on the third floor. Please bring your passport or national ID card, your signed contract, and your bank details for payroll setup. Orientation begins at 9:30 AM and lasts until 12:30 PM.
WORKING HOURS
The standard working day is 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. There is a 30-minute lunch break between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM. Flexible working is available after your first three months — you may start any time between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM, as long as you complete 8 hours.
DRESS CODE
Business casual is the standard dress code. This means smart trousers or skirts with a collared shirt or blouse. Jeans are allowed on Fridays only. Shorts and flip-flops are not permitted at any time.
OFFICE FACILITIES
- Kitchen: Located on each floor with free tea and coffee. A microwave and refrigerator are available.
- Parking: Limited spaces available in the underground car park. Apply to facilities@brightstar.com.
- Gym: A small gym is located in the basement. It is free for all employees and open from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
- Cafeteria: On the ground floor, open for lunch from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Average meal cost is $7-9.
IT SETUP
Your laptop and email account will be ready on your first day. Your manager will provide your login details. If you experience any technical issues, contact the IT Help Desk at extension 2200 or email it-support@brightstar.com.
PROBATION PERIOD
All new employees have a 6-month probation period. During this time, you will have monthly check-ins with your manager to discuss your progress. At the end of the probation, a formal review will determine your permanent status.
