GREENFIELD CITY LIBRARY — MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Welcome to Greenfield City Library! We are open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The library is closed on public holidays.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES
Standard Membership (Free): Available to all residents of Greenfield. You can borrow up to 6 books at a time for a period of 3 weeks. To register, bring a photo ID and proof of address (such as a utility bill or bank statement).
Student Membership (Free): Available to students aged 12-25 with a valid student ID. You can borrow up to 10 books at a time for a period of 4 weeks. Students also get free access to online journals and databases.
Premium Membership ($25/year): Available to anyone. You can borrow up to 15 books at a time for 4 weeks. Premium members also receive free DVD and audiobook rentals, priority access to new releases, and free printing (up to 50 pages per month).
RETURNING BOOKS
Books must be returned by the due date. Late fees are $0.50 per day per item, up to a maximum of $10.00 per item. Books can be returned at the front desk during opening hours, or in the drop box outside the main entrance at any time. You can also renew books online through our website or by calling 555-0192.
COMPUTER AND INTERNET ACCESS
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Public computers are available on the second floor on a first-come, first-served basis. Each session is limited to 60 minutes, but can be extended if no one is waiting. Printing costs $0.10 per black-and-white page and $0.25 per color page (free for Premium members up to the monthly limit).
EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
The library hosts weekly events including:
- Children's Story Time: Every Wednesday at 10:30 AM (ages 3-7)
- Book Club for Adults: First Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM
- Homework Help: Every weekday from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM (for students aged 8-16)
- English Conversation Group: Every Saturday at 2:00 PM (free, no registration required)
